MY Courses

New Syllabus:

My course is based on Atomic and Molecular structure which includes Schrodinger equation. Particle in a box solutions and their applications for simple sample. Molecular orbitals of diatomic molecules (e.g.H2). Energy level diagrams of diatomic. Pi-molecular orbitals of butadiene and benzene and aromaticity. Crystal field theory and the energy level diagrams for transition metal ions and their magnetic properties. Band structure of solids and the role of doping on band structures.

Old Syllabus: (till the academic session June-2018)

My course is based on Polymer Chemistry where the Introduction, Classifications, Uses and Polymerization processes have been covered.

The course have two sections:

Section 1: Introduction, classifications and uses of polymer

Link: Polymer Chemistry

Besides Polymer Chemistry; I also taught to the students were

Industrial Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Reaction Dynamics, Solid Sate,Structure & Reactivity of Organic Molecules.

Food Tech. (2nd Year)

Module I: Dilute solutions – Colligative properties
Lowering of vapor pressure of solution, elevation of boiling point, freezing point depression, definition, principles and laws of osmotic pressure

Module III: Coordination chemistry
Structures of coordination compounds corresponding to coordination number 6; types of ligands; isomerism (geometrical, optical, ionization, linkage and coordination) Colloid chemistry: Definition of colloid, principle of colloid formation, types of colloid, colloid preparation, stability of colloid, association of colloid and emulsion
